Litigation / Arbitration

Representing our clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings is a core area of our practice. We use our manifold experience in this area not only for the benefit of our clients in litigation but also in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution procedures.

Our practice includes corporate law (post-M&A-disputes, liability of directors and officers, corporate litigation), general commercial law (including international commercial transactions, marketing and distribution), banking and capital markets disputes (prospectus liability, investment regulation, enforcement proceedings) and media- and copyright law.

We always strive for the best possible results as determined by the client's interest, both in domestic and international context, in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. We follow a strategic approach keeping an eye on the economic consequences and the cost risk in every stage of the proceedings.

Our independence enables us to represent our clients in disputes where multi-national law firms would face a conflict of interests. To the extent necessary, we collaborate in areas of special expertise with external colleagues. Besides the necessary expertise, our lawyers have the indispensable intercultural and linguistic skills to successfully handle litigations and arbitrations in an international context.
