Weitnauer has provided legal advice to the shareholders of FMB Feinwerk- und Messtechnik GmbH on the sale of all shares to the listed company SAES Getters S.p.A. based in Milan. The purchase price of the shares in FMB Feinwerk- und Messtechnik GmbH, a leading international system provider for equipment for research with synchrotron radiation based in Berlin, amounts to EUR 8 million and is subject to any adjustments.

In preparation for the sale, Bates Wells, Weitnauer's network partner in the London-based international law firm network Parlex Group, advised on a carve-out of a UK subsidiary under the lead management of Scott Leonard.
